Welcome to Art at Lincoln School!


My name is Sarah Blalock, and I am the art teacher. I have been teaching at Lincoln School since January of 2007. I love working with kids of all ages and in all kinds of media. One of my favorite things about my job is being able to see the students learn and grow from year to year.

I have a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Studio Art from San Diego State University (2005), and a Master of Fine Arts in Studio Teaching from Boston University (2007). I like working with many different kinds of art, including drawing, painting, woodworking, ceramics, and furniture. I also love combining art and craft by sewing, bookmaking, and making stuff in general.
